The pedestrian gate is used to create a personnel entrance within a closed, half-height construction fence.

The construction fence gate is a special type of construction fence element where only one upright tube is designed to be inserted into a fence post. The frame tube on the opposite side is shorter so that it can rotate over the fence post.

To enable rotation, a swivel joint is attached to the upright of this construction fence element to connect the door to the adjacent construction fence panel.
