This locking element is used to prevent the individual panels from being lifted out of the feet, thereby increasing security against, for example, vandalism.

The anti-lift device for construction fences is a flat steel bracket that is placed around the base. The sections of the mobile fence are attached to the anti-lift device at the top end using a connecting clamp (see accessories).
